How we came up with this concept:
I work for Audio Savings and just started here pretty recently. I have always been in love with karaoke and wanted a karaoke system in my house. Most karaoke machines on the market are either very expensive, or the cheaper ones do not sound great. They also all require you to buy these CD-G discs to get the words onto a TV screen. These discs are hard to find though. I thought there must be a better way.

I was talking with some of the audio engineers about my dilemma and they gave me a rock solid solution which is how this concept came to life.

The solution was demoed to me in our office. It was simple to connect. After 2 minutes of plugging in 3 wires the results blew my mind! We had youtube from one of our office computers up on our big screen TV. We had the sound coming out of the NYC Acoustics speaker which sounded amazing! The wireless mics were also co nected to the speakers and also sounded flawless! I was able to sing along. The sound was superior to many other Karaoke applications I have tried. Best of all using youtube.com puts almost any song you could ask for at your fingertips with the words running down the screen! No need to buy and/or store Discs!

The NYC Acoustics N12A is one of the coolest speakers on the market. It really gets the party going. This speaker first and foremost was manufactured to give you crystal clear sound. With 400 watts peak power and 200 watts RMS power this is actually one of the most powerful speakers at this price point. Before I talk about the features and options of this item, I wanted to talk about the guts of the unit. It all starts with the cabinet. One thing some audio enthusiasts overlook is the level of importance the enclosure of the speaker has on sound quality. This uses a top of the line wooden enclosure which is one of the reasons the sound quality is so crisp. Other brands use particle board wood which is not as dense as the high quality MDF wood we use. This item has a 12” woofer with 1.5” KSV voice coil and 30 Oz magnet that provides really CLEAN sounding bass. The 2 tweeters provide great sounding highs. One of the reasons our speaker sounds so good is due to the amplifier. Our engineers decided to use great quality magnets and voice coils and match up the proper amplifier to power them. We spent extra time and money on the built in amplifier and properly matched the power handling. A speaker can only go as loud as the amplifier powering it. That is one of the reasons.......we did NOT try to cut any corners on our amplifier. We invested into the proper enclosure, proper amplifier, and then matched the proper speaker components with the enclosure and amp.

This item has incredible features. It has built in bluetooth integration, allowing you to listen to music from your Bluetooth enabled phone or MP3 player wirelessly. The Bluetooth range (tested by our quality control team) was 49 feet. The sound quality of the Bluetooth was great. No interference whatsoever. This item also has USB and SD inputs and an FM radio giving you many playback options. The built in graphic EQ will allow you to customize the sound to match your favorite music genre. To really get the party going; turn out the lights and hit the dance floor!
