"I returned the first one of these because I couldn't get it to link trying to follow the enclosed written documentation, which is more than confusing. When a replacement acted the same, I just kept trying different things, and it finally worked. You set the receiver to one of the color-coded channels, then cycle through the channels on the transmitter until you reach the color that matches. In a few seconds, the fixture will respond to the controller. The receiver color is hard to see in daylight, so I hold a toilet paper tube over it so it's dark enough to see. Once I got it to link, it has worked flawlessly. Better documentation, please. The video is cursory and doesn't really stop to explain the linking process clearly."

"The battery doesn't last as long as I had hoped. It says 9 hours. . . I had a wedding where I had a lighting truss, so I left the transmitters on until the open dance at the end of the night, and they slowly started dying and losing power. . . I would say at 3/4 hours they would be fine but you're risking it after that. Especially if you're using them to manipulate lights, not just one color."

"I need to spend some time with your technical advisors. I am pleased with my purchases, and plan to make more, but need to speak with someone regarding the W4/WRE stuff- is not working as explained in the videos. Wireless for my setup beats a long cord.
"Took just a little bit to find how to match the color to the controller I was using. However, once that was paired, this works amazing. Put it in the first light and daisy-chained the rest from there and it worked like a charm. I will have a better idea on battery life after I have used it a little bit more. The only other challenge that I had is with the length of the unit. My par wall wash lights have the DMX port in the bottom. This protrudes below the bracket when my fixtures are positioned on the floor. A couple of books to help straddle the receiver worked."
