The RMSTS80W marine speaker by Rockville is our step up series in our marine speaker lineup that offers a 1” titanium tweeter as well as more power handling! They have a larger magnet and can handle 500 watts RMS & 1000 watts peak! If you are using an external amplifier we recommend this series.

The RMSTS80W was designed in a special molded ABS plastic basket. Our ABS baskets are un-breakable! You can smash these on the floor, or hit them with a sledge hammer and they will not break! We use the highest grade ABS plastic in the world! The polypropylene cone is reliable and sounds great. This same material is used on the top speakers on the market. We use rubber surrounds on these to eliminate unwanted distortion. In addition, rubber is a very waterproof material. The 1” titanium tweeter puts out incredible sounding highs. The low end bass and mids of these speakers are also extremely loud, clear, and punchy!
The RMSTS80W 8” marine speakers were engineered to deliver amazing power and sound quality in the outdoors; be it saltwater, freshwater or any other harsh environment. These speakers can withstand tons of abuse and can handle 1000 watts peak and 500 watts RMS. These Rockville speakers comply with the CEA 2031 Loud Speaker Standard. This same rating standard is used by the highest end marine brands in the industry. CEA compliant means you can rest assured that the ratings are 100% legitimate. (We compared these against other brands and although some of these other brands stated higher wattage, the Rockville RMSTS80W speakers were able to handle more than double the power!)
These speakers come with everything you need for installation including pre mounted grills and mounting hardware.

Description of KRYPTON MF4:
We took the sound of our Krypton car amps and we added top of the line marine grade parts so that they will last forever and withstand even the harshest conditions on the water.
We went a little overboard (no pun intended) to make this amp marine ready. We conformal coated the PCB board with a waterproof glue that is painted on to protect the circuitry. The heat sink, including the bottom plate, is made of aluminum which is rustproof. The end panels, internal mounting screws and hardware of the amp are made of stainless steel and are rustproof. Even after many years of use the amp will be rust free and operate like new!
The KRYPTON MF4 is a class AB 4-Channel high power amplifier with 2,400 watts peak output and 600 watts Dyno certified RMS power. The peak rating can be used to compare with brands who use peak ratings such as Boss and Power Acoustik while the Dyno Certified RMS rating can be used to compare with top brands such as Kicker, Rockford, Alpine, etc.
This amp has a very cool fully adjustable 12dB/Octave crossover. What is cool about it is that our crossover supports low pass, high pass, bandpass, and subsonic. This makes our amp ideal for subwoofers (sealed and vented), full range speakers, and midrange speakers. In high pass mode we allow you to filter out frequencies between 15Hz - 4K Hz. In full mode you will not be filtering any frequencies. The really cool part is in low pass mode you can use the high pass and low pass mode. So for example you can set the low pass mode to 50 hz, and then you can set the high pass to 15 Hz. In this case you would be playing frequencies in the range of 15-50 Hz on this channel. This would be an example of using the subsonic filter. Another option you have is for midrange speakers, you can use our low pass filter and set it really high. Lets say to 3Khz and then you can set the high pass to 150Hz and your midrange speakers will only play that frequency range. Our advanced crossover technology will allow you to really fine tune each speaker to get the sound you desire.
The KRYPTON MF4 is protected by a fully IC controlled circuit which includes mute, delay and soft start technology so that the amplifier will turn on safely every time and protect your speakers from popping.
You will also notice we decided to add a cool battery voltage display meter which looks great but also serves as a tool for you to know if your battery voltage is dropping which would affect your systems performance. We designed the amps to be able to last for many years even if you are playing them at max volume before clipping for extended periods of time.
This is a class A/B amplifier which is what we recommend to get the best sound quality out of full range speakers.
One other cool features about this amp is the marine public address system. Simply plug the microphone into the 3.5mm jack and you are ready to go. The amplifier features talk-over functionality. When the microphone is being used the music will fade to the background until you stop talking into the mic
