The award-winning PWD-X5 packs a subwoofer, amplifier, and Digital Sound
Processor (DSP) into a compact, shallow footprint that’s small enough to be
mounted under a seat. This industry-first, all-in-one solution saves time,
space, and money.
Don’t have room for a separate subwoofer and amplifier but want a simple way to
enhance your sound system? The PWD-X5 is the all-in-one product that meets your
needs. The PWD-X5 features an 8-inch subwoofer, amplifier and DSP in a
self-contained unit. Measuring just 10” W x 13.5” H x 3.15” D, the PWD-X5 is
small enough to be mounted under a seat, so it does not take up any usable
storage space. The 8” subwoofer has a flat diaphragm and produces quality,
low-end bass within its shallow cast-aluminum enclosure.
The PWD-X5’s subwoofer increases the sound system’s overall bass output and when
the product is installed under the front seat, it brings the sound stage forward
in the vehicle for the best bass and imaging experience. With 165-watts
available to the subwoofer and 25-watts x 4 to the speakers, this all-in-one
solution lets you create a truly enjoyable and customizable sound experience in
just about any in-vehicle cabin space.
Gone are the days when tuning a sound system was a tedious, time-consuming
process. The PWD-X5 can wirelessly tune your sound system using Bluetooth®
technology and the “PWD-X5” smartphone app (available for free on the App Store®
and Google Play™). Either format allows you to assign inputs/outputs,
crossovers, and time correction. Ten bands of equalization per channel can be
set and viewed in one place, so that sound adjustments are made with real-time
results. The included remote commander with rotary knob installs on the
dashboard so you can quickly adjust volume, bass adjustment, mute and source
selection.
The PWD-X5 can also be used in non-traditional ways thanks to the Bluetooth®
streaming capabilities. In situations where the car radio cannot be replaced,
such as in a classic car, music can be streamed to the PWD-X5’s Bluetooth®
connection then played through the car’s speakers while utilizing the PWD-X5’s
bass and amplified power. If a head unit does not exist, such as on a motorcycle
or a side-by-side, the music streamed from a smartphone to the PWD-X5’s
Bluetooth® connection is used as the vehicle’s music source.

Description:
The Rockville RWK42 4 AWG (American Wire Gauge) amp kit has the following diferences over other amp kits on the market at this price point.
1. Our RCA cables are 100 % copper. These are top of the line RCA cables
2. Better Resistance: The only thing that really matters with wires is the resistance rating. This is a measurement of conductivity and how much signal is loss per foot of wire. Since Rockville wires are made with around 3 times as much copper as any other wire at this price point, these wires had a much better resistance rating which means they will transfer more power to your amps than the other brands.
3. We do not cheat you on the thickness of the wire. These are standard American wire gauge thickness. This is another reason our conductivity is better than anything else at this price point. Other brands in the market place write 4 gauge, but cheat you on the thickness. We are honest about the thickness.
4. The Rockville amplifier installation kits feature a new soft abrasion proof insulating jacket. This rugged PVC outer jacket allows for 100% improved flexibility over standard power cables making them extremely easy to route through your vehicles interior, and it maintains exceptional resistance to grease and oil. The PVC outer jacket can with-stand an extreme temperature range of -40 to 220 degrees F.
The RCA signal transfer cables included in this kit feature blue and silver twisted pair technology in a clear outer jacket insulation skin. Not only do the blue and silver wires look cool but they also provide superior signal transfer with maximum noise suppression. They are 100% copper to provide absolute lossless perfect signal transfer to your receiver. This technology reduces interference, so your audio signal flows clean and pure at all power levels.
This kit also includes a massive 80 Amp AGU Gold Plated Fuse, so you can be sure it will handle the all the DC power that your amp will need without even the slightest loss of current. The included 7 split loom tube provides protection for your power cable from the typically harsh environment found under the hood of your car.
