The all new dB marine series of amplifiers gives you the best of both worlds! We took the sound of our best selling series of DB car amps, and added marine grade components and parts to ensure that these amps will last a lifetime.

Now we went to extreme lengths to make this Amp truly marine ready. We conformal coated the PCB Board with a waterproof glue that is painted on to protect the circuitry.

The Heat Sink, including the bottom plate, is made of aluminum which is rustproof. And The end panels, and even the internal mounting screws and all of the hardware is made from stainless steel which is also rustproof.

We then added silicone covers on either side which will ensure none of the terminals will get water in them.

The DBM65 is a class A/B Marine Amplifier that outputs 650 watts for all of the 6 channels - so each channel is outputting 110 watts at 2 Ohms, and 75 watts at 4 Ohms. Basically what I am trying to say is that this amp is an ABSOLUTE BEAST. THERE are a ton of configuration options because you can bridge any 2 channels of the amp or plug 2 speakers into any single channel.

We have an input mode switch. It has 6 channel, 4 channel, and 2 channel selectable input modes. This means if you only have one set of RCA outputs on your receiver, you can run this in 2 channel mode and still have a 6 channel amp to connect many speakers! If you have 3 pairs of preamp outputs you can run the amp in 6 channel input mode, and if you have 2 pairs you can select the 4 channel input mode.Above that we have our mic input - then our sets of RCA inputs. Now these are the controls for channel 1 and 2 which is a level knob a high pass filter and the crossover which is either a High pass or full range. Channel 3 and 4 has a level, a high pass filter, and then the crossover has three setting High pass, full range or low Pass followed by a Low pass filter knob. Channel 5 and 6 controls are similar - Level knob, High pass filter, and then three crossover settings of High pass, full range or Low Pass.

Now going back to the crossover - all channels can do A full range - where no frequencies will be filtered out or a high pass - where you are filter out some lower frequencies. Channels 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 have an additional Low Pass Crossover setting - really cool about the low pass filter is you can use it to create a bandpass Filter. So if you have it on low pass filter you can set the High pass filter and the low pass filter and the range in between is what you will hear. This is really useful if you want to create a subsonic filter to target really low lows, or if you are doing something like using midrange speakers on these channels and you want to create a certain frequency range they can play out of. This makes our amp ideal for subwoofers - either sealed or vented, full range speakers, tweeters, midrange speakers, or even combinations of all different types of speakers! For example on channel 1 and 2 you can set the crossover to Full mode and have 4 full range speakers playing from there. Then on channel 3 and 4 you can use the Bandpass feature and have 8 midrange speakers. And then Finally on channels 5-6 you can have a subwoofer or two using the low pass filter.

THIS amp is capable of supporting almost any setup you can think of. My setup was 12 Full Range Speakers with the crossover setting on all 6 channels set to Full

My ears are still ringing from testing this out.
